Stress Care of New Jersey provides diverse, culturally competent, quality mental services for adolescents, adults, and the elderly. This ambulatory program offers psychiatric evaluation, medication management, individual and group therapy for those not requiring hospitalization or who have completed an inpatient program enabling patients to continue treatment while living and working in their own community.
Our professional staff of dedicated clinicians includes licensed clinical social workers, licensed professional counselors, certified and licensed psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, all of whom have a wide variety of clinical expertise and experience working with people in need of assistance. Our goal is to provide remarkable service and remarkable care.
Outpatient program includes treatment for a wide variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, insomnia, manic depression, attention deficit problems, abuse and trauma, parent-child conflict, aggressive and acting out behavior, grief and loss, school problems and much more. Services take place in the clinic office and are individualized to meet the unique needs of each client.
Our comprehensive mental health services also help our clients learn effective ways to manage their behaviors and emotions to be successful at home and in the community. Additionally, our services help parents learn how to understand their children's problems and learn more effective ways to manage their children's problems and support them in building successful lives. Involvement of family members or significant others is strongly encouraged in all levels of care.
